Dogs are welcome (2 max) with the pet fee - please clean up after them.
No smoking indoors; a covered porch area is available for smokers.
Wood for the fireplace is provided; please use the outdoor firepit responsibly and fully extinguish before bed.
Quiet hours from 9pm to 8am out of respect for neighboring cabins.

Tom grew up hiking these mountains and built the Birchwood Cabin himself. He lives five minutes away and is always available if anything comes up during your stay.

Is the hot tub private?
Yes, it is exclusively for the use of guests staying at the cabin.
Do you provide ski equipment?
We do not provide equipment directly, but there is a rental shop 5 minutes from the cabin.
Is there cell signal?
Signal can be spotty in the valley; WiFi is reliable and works well for calls.
Policies
Check-in requires a signed digital rental agreement, sent automatically after booking.
A security deposit hold is authorized at check-in and released within 5 days of checkout, pending a damage inspection.
Cancellation policy
Full refund up to 7 days before check-in.
50% refund for cancellations 3-6 days before check-in.
No refund inside 3 days of check-in, though we're happy to help you rebook other dates if possible.
Winter Access
The final half-mile of the access road is unpaved and can be snowy in winter - we strongly recommend a 4WD or AWD vehicle from December through March.
